Over the course of his career, jungle and drum & bass DJ and producer Downlink has become renowned for his dark, hard hitting, often frantic sound that he claims is influenced by everything from heavy metal to astrophysics.
His releases have come out via some of the biggest labels in the scene, including Mau5trap, OWSLA, and Rottun Recordings, with which he is particularly involved.
Downlink’s tracks have found an amazingly enthusiastic audience through Beatport, once holding four of the top ten spots on its dubstep chart at once, and having achieved No.1 slots on its dubstep and drum & bass charts on several occasions. His most recent career steps have brought him working along the legendary band Korn, first producing and mastering their tenth studio album, then joining them on the road as an opening act.
