Former “club kid”, turned DJ, DJ Encrypted, is a Multi-Genre DJ who resides in Portland, Oregon. Widening his musical range and opening up his chances for greater success, the genres covered by the talents of DJ Encrypted ranges from Techno to Downtempo, across Dubstep and New Jack swing and also include Progressive Electro Trance.
As wide and varying as his genres are, the same can be said about his many influences. The influences of the passionate DJ Encrypted includes Skinny Puppy, KLF, Utah Saints, Orbital, Underworld, Depeche Mode, ALL THINGS RAZORMAID, Diatribe, NIN, Pop will eat itself, crystal method, KMFDM, Front 242 and Velvet Acid Christ, among many others of the Greats. Influenced by these astounding artistes, DJ Encrypted was proffered into entering the Primitive Science DJ Competition, last year, in 2012, from which he emerged victorious, on July 28, 2012.
DJ Encrypted is the follower of a variety of successful bands. Among his interest are the following bands: Crystal Method, Skinny Puppy, Bassnectar, Wolfgang Gartner, Popof, Pop will eat itself, Underworld, George Michael and Satoshii Tomei.
