Israeli psychedelic trance duo Infected Mushroom has become renowned for their elaborate multimedia stage performances and their studio-work which utilizes a variety of sounds and styles. Founded in 1996 by producers Amit Duvdevani and Erez Eisen (both of whom possess extensive training in classical piano and other forms of music, which is reflected in their songwriting), Infected Mushroom has become one of the forerunners in the psych-trance scene. All of the duo’s albums including the Gathering, Classical Mushroom, B.P Empire, Converting Vegetarians, IM the Supervisor, Vicious Delicious, and Army of Mushrooms are considered classics amongst the genre.
They have performed at some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Burning Man, the Ultra Music Festival, the Virgin Festival in Baltimore, Mexico’s OMIX, Coachella, and many, many more. Over the course of their career, Infected Mushroom has remixed and covered songs by a variety of popular musicians, such as the Doors and the Foo Fighters, and they have worked on the album production for superstar artists, most recently Lady Gaga.
Infected Mushroom has appeared regularly on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs Poll, twice reaching the top ten.
