When it comes to Australian DJs, Ivan Gough is undeniably one of the world’s most famous. A prolific producer, he has released more tracks, albums, and remixes than any other Australian producer, and he is known for his willingness to work through the spectrum of EDM, using sounds from progressive house, trance, deep house, electro, breaks, and being considered the first DJ to use nu-breaks in his country. Over the course of his career, his tracks have been regularly included on the playlists of leading DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, Tiesto, and Swedish House Mafia. Gough has also been highly active in a project with Grant Smillie called TV Rock, and together they have released eleven tracks No.1 that reached No. 1 on the ARIA club chart, which is the unchallenged record. Their 2006 hit “Flaunt It” took in two ARIAs, went double platinum, and to this day stands as the record to stay the longest in the ARIA top 10. In 2011, the duo released two tracks featuring Gough on the vocals, both of which hit No. 1 on the Australian club chart.
