Before going into DJing and production, Englander John Askew spend several years as a guitarist in small rock bands. He then attended his first rave and immediately changed musical paths, selling his guitar in order to buy a set of turntables.
By 1994 John was playing at some of the most infamous clubs and parties in England. It wasn’t long before he was sharing the stage with scene legends Carl Cox and Paul Oakenfold. Within a year or two he was touring on an international level.
In 2000, he performed a set so impressive at Ministry of Sounds’ Dome festival that MoS offered him a residency at its London club. Since then, he has consistently ranked as one of the most talented and dedicated producers around.
