Marcelo Flix

Marcelo Flix, also known as DJ Flix, born on the 12th of April, is based in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He was influence onto the Musical stage, by his father, Xavier Flix, who is also of the musical inclination.
At the age of 18, inspired by his love for the Progressive House genre, Flix got his first computer, a piano and a pair of horns and those made up his first musical set. With those he began to create his sound. Since then, he has done over 40 plus remixes, to date.
DJ Flix is recognized for his versatility at the turntables and his speed in the mixtures. “My dream is to play in every corner of my country, in other countries and meet DJ’s from around the world to share my music knowledge and vice versa,” says young DJ Flix.
Aspiring to be among the greats, Flix take pride in his work and is influenced by artistes, such as Swedish House Mafia, Mario Ochoa, Abel Ramos, Deadmau5, Dimitri Vegas And Like Mike, AN21 And Max Vangeli, Luca M among many others. He is covered by record labels, namely: Borinken House Records, Friky Bears Recording, GroundZero Records, Total Dance Music and Tulum Records.
