About In the VenueYou’ll find a little of everything at In the Venue, from nationally touring bands to local DJs. It’s one of the oldest night clubs in Salt Lake City, and patrons come from all over the valley to hear their favorite sounds in this special spot.
Though it may be a mid-sized venue, there’s nothing small about the sound. Their state-of-the art, recently updated sound system puts the perfect focus on the music. Huge bands have come through and stopped at In the Venue to have an intimate, cozy concert. Recent examples include the Smashing Pumpkins, Katy Perry, The Shins, Slayer, My Chemical Romance, and MGMT.
There are plenty of places to get down to the tunes at this venue, including right up front where you can practically touch the band, or right outside on the relaxed open air patio that may not include views of the bands, but thanks to speakers pumping all night, your ears will be in for a treat.
Most shows are 18+, and In the Venue follows state laws that require 18+ and 21+ areas to be separated. The areas for each group will change based on the size of the show, but in most cases the balcony is only 21+.
