About Norad Dance BarNorad Dance Bar has a distinctly industrial feel about it, though stripped down considerably. It makes sense that the venue has a bomb for its logo as it looks like a club in that location was recently destroyed with only the rubble left. This is due in large part to the liberal amounts of exposed brick, piping and low lighting augmented mostly by candles on top of a marble bar.
Of course, not all the lighting is low. Norad Dance Bar features regular DJs playing electronic and house and when they begin to perform, an array of LED lights and lasers fire off in every direction. Thursday is their drum and bass night and Friday nights at Norad Dance Bar feature “Home is Where the House Is” which features some of the best house music DJs and Producers performing today.
With such performances, Norad Dance Bar has solidified itself as a hotspot for house-heads in the area to enjoy a dance floor largely free of people looking for top 40 or popular EDM. They have also done a great job of bringing in national house talent as well as BnD artists. Their calendar shows more coming to finish out the year too.
