Agent K is an international Breakbeat sensation who is a staple here in the Florida Breaks scene. He started producing Breaks back in the height of the Breakbeat domination of Orlando in 1996. Before dabbling in Electronic music, Agent K played bass in an Alternative Rock band for four years. Seems appropriate, going from playing the bass to making the BASS. “I was attracted to the fact that there were unlimited creative possibilities to making electronic music, you can incorporate sounds from every genre of music there is.”
2005 brought Agent K in to a whole new world of music, quite literally. He gained his worldwide success in this year, as well as switched his style from the old school, Florida Funky Breaks to the Nu Skool style of Breakbeat. A couple of years later, Agent K received the ‘Best Producer in Breaks” award by Remix and URB magazine for his track “Montego”. All of this success eventually led him to start his own record company, and “Digital Records” was born.
Bella is a female DJ in a male dominated world of DJ’s. She is by far one of the best DJ’s (personal opinion of course) to grace the Florida Electronic music scene. She has moved on from the local Florida scene to much bigger and better things, becoming one of the top Female DJ’s across the country. Bella has a style that is hard-hitting, bass in your face, balls to the walls, face melting bass music. Her music can be compared to that of Deekline, Stanton Warriors, and Icey.
Not only has Bella mastered the ones and twos, but she has also gained the unique ability to read any room that she is spinning to and cater to the overall vibe and emotion of the crowd. This pretty much guarantees that every time you see Bella spin live, you will never know what she will come up with, as her shows are always geared towards that individual crowd. Her track, “So Thug”, has been played by both on DJ Icey and The Crystal Method on their respective Sirius satellite Radio shows. “So Thug” also ranked on Beatports top ten Breaks chart. Noy only that, but, her tracks “Ghetto Blaster” and “Baby Baby Baby” also joined the Beatport family as part of the top 100 Breakbeat downloads.
Agent K and Bella have quite the history together and frequently travel and spin together. Their track, “Sierra Leone”, was released in 2008 and placed in Beatport’s the top 10 in 2008. The energy these two bring to a crowd is second to none. Their collaborative effort when on stage in front of fans, weather it be to a crowd of fifty, or a crowd of fifty thousand, These two keep the energy in the room at an all time high from beginning to end. If you have never seen these Florida legends throw down their bass assaults before, then you better get on board, because Agent K and Bella are truly at the top of their game.
