Hardcore and gabber DJ Angerfist, Danny Masseling, came in at No. 42 on DJ Magazines Top 100 DJs Poll, making him the most popular hardcore DJ in the industry. Angerfist launched his career in 2001 when his debut EP Menace II Society was released by DJ Buzz Fuzz’s BZRK Records. Angerfirst rapidly became known for his aggressive sound, which features hard hitting bass drums accompanied by vocal samplings that generally involve murder and other horror related sounds. He has performed at a number of high-profile events, including Defqon 1, Thunderdome, Sensation Black, Dominator, Mysteryland, and Masters of Hardcore, for which he produced the anthem in 2004. During his performances, Angerfist is joined onstage by MC Prozac, and they usually appear in customized hockey masks and hoodies.
