Ten years ago, Paul Oakenfold said of DJ Ben Gold that he “is a talented young producer and definitely one to one to watch out for in the future”. Since then, Gold has gone on to become known throughout the world as a festival favorite, and he has appeared on stages with internationally renowned artists such as DeadMau5, Armin Van Buuren, Avicii, Gareth Emery, Eric Prydz, and many others. He has performed at high-profile events such as Bal en Blanc, the ASOT celebration parties, Creamfields, Global Gathering, and he recently garnered a residency at the Gallery, which is held at the world’s biggest super-club, Ministry of Sound.
Gold began his career at the age of 15, and within a year he appeared on Trance Nation, which was one of the biggest compilations at the time. It wasn’t long before his tracks were featured on the European compilation Dream Dance, which placed him among the ranks of some of the world’s leading producers. Paul Oakenfold then signed Gold to Perfecto Records and brought him along on his Album tour of the UK. Since then, Gold has released tracks on High Contrast, Armada, Musical Madness, and Discover, and he is currently signed to Gareth Emery’s Garuda. He regularly garners “Tune of the Week” from Armin Van Buuren and Above and Beyond, as well as “Tune of the Month” from Mixmag.
