Having never once performed outside of the United States, it is difficult to believe that Los Angeles native DJ Bl3nd has built up an enthusiastic audience of millions, but he has. After spending several months trying to break into his local scene, he realized that he had to find a different way to make an impression. Bl3nd then began filming videos of himself playing explosive hardcore while dancing wildly in his now-signature mask. Once the videos were up on YouTube they went viral immediately. Proving himself to be a master of social networking, within just three years Bl3nd was able to collect more than 600,000 YouTube subscribers and over 250 million views, a Twitter following exceeding 150,000, and upwards of 3.2 million Facebook likes. People from all over the world listen to his music, and he has been selling out shows attended by thousands of people within the US. Suffice to say, DJ Bl3nd is the definition of a self starter.
