Blu Mar Ten is a music creation ensemble located in London, and is composed of Michael Tognarelli, Chris Marigold and Leo Wyndham.
Blu Mar Ten’s initial track to be-released was “The Fountain” / “Lunar” back in ’96 in the now-defunct Way Out Records. The tune showed up on several compilations and was branded by Fabio as his ‘melody of the season’. It was tightly associated with the Blu Mar Ten remix of Erykah Badu’s initial track “On & On” for MCA Records, which arrived at the industry top 10 songs chart. Soon after these launches Blu Mar Ten were presented a long-term offer by LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, that was approved. This venture saw a very long chain of launches to the label such as features to the Logical Progression, Earth and Progression Periods album and songs on Good Looking’s associate labels. A distinct musician album along with a Blu Mar Ten musician collection album were additionally introduced by the Good Looking label.
At the beginning of 2001 Blu Mar Ten along with Good Looking Records split. After this, Blu Mar Ten went to generate records in an assortment of musical genres. They’ve made breaks for Rennie Pilgrem’s label TCR and Danny Macmillan’s Inflight label, 2-step garage for Lime, techhouse for Guidance Recordings along with leftfield downbeat for the Big Chill, Exceptional Records along with Naked Music. They’ve also adopted remix obligations for Erykah Badu once more, Annie Lennox, The Ananda Project, Joey Negro and Terry Lee Brown Junior.
September 2003 found the launch of the primary Blu Mar Ten record subsequent to their break up with Good Looking Records entitled “The Six Million Names of God, on Exceptional Records. In 2004, Marigold and Wyndham were accompanied by Michael Tognarelli. As a teen in Manchester, Tognarelli had been employed at the Spin Inn and Eastern Bloc record stores together with Sappo and Marcus Intalex.
Throughout 2005 as well as 2006, Blu Mar Ten came back to making drum and bass using several launches on labels such as Doc Scott’s 31 Records, Subject 13’s Vibez Recordings, Renegade Hardware, John B’s Tangent Recordings, Basement Recordings, Friction’s Shogun Audio, Hospital Records and Nookie’s Phuzion Records.
September of 2007 witnessed the launch of the record Black Water, which highlighted a number of singing tracks together with friends Ernesto, Kameel and Alexis Strum. Numerous singles were unveiled round the launching of the record, such as remixes from Cicada, Kubiks, Sabre, Tomp Middleton and Blu Mar Ten themselves.
Back in 2009, Blu Mar Ten unveiled their Natural History drum and bass venture, together with the Believe Me and Close albums early within the year, as well as the record Natural History in the November thereafter. A set of remixes from the record were launched the next year, presenting editions by means of Badmammal & Kastle, Seba, Klute, Bop and Stray.
When 2011 arrived, Blu Mar Ten presented the Love is the Devil recording. The followed this release in 2012 with remixes of the tracks from the album entitled from Sunchase & BCee, Unquote, Joe Syntax, Marcus Intalex and dBridge.
Throughout 2012 Blu Mar Ten enlarged their recording label, and began delivering songs from various other musicians.
