More widely known as Brian Harris on the Illinois State University campus, DJ Caffeine got his first taste of his genuine calling by scoring his 1st DJ show at a nearby pub named the “Varsity Club” boosted by Chicago B96 Mix Masters DJ Smurf and DJ Speed. Though being put in the cellar as the “scrub DJ”, he still appeared to create buzz across campus making everyone yearning for more Caffeine, being understood to getting an entirely new fashion and sound. Smurf and Speed immediately comprehended this authentic concealed ability and had larger plans for this “scrub DJ”.
Calling up Tucker 1 of Chicago’s team supporters as well as their buddies, Speed and Smurf immediately called in a favor for how they could get the whole City of Chicago on Caffeine. Seeing the chance, DJ Caffeine transports to Columbia College and immediately meets up with Josh R. who runs the schools radio station and is promptly added on spinning for weekly Progressive caffeine injected mixtures.

Being affected by the old school Chicago hard house picture, Caffeine consistently remains true to his origins. He’s been playing for well over a decade through the USA and Europe. He has had weekly residencies at nearly every one of Chicago’s top clubs. He was a real innovator in exposing the Chicagoland place to numerous national and globally acclaimed artists. He’s also an accomplished producer working with all the most revered producers globally.
