Dutch Dj and producer Daan Romers—better known as Dannic—hails from Breda, home of fellow greats such as Hardwell, Funkerman, and Tiesto. Dannic’s career got off to an early start thanks to instant enthusiasm for his bootleg mash-ups like the Axwell vs. Julie McKnight track “How Soon is Glory”, the Tim Mason and Laidback Luke vs. Adele track “The Moment Is Rolling in God’s Air (Funkadelic Bootleg), and numerous others. To this day, Dannic’s early work still finds regular inclusion in sets by hit names such as Avicii, Tiesto, Nicky Romero, and the Bingo Players.
Dannic also gained attention early on by winning a number of contents, such as the 2009 Dancetour DJ contest and the Funkerman Remix contest. His quick successes soon led to a signing with Hardwell’s label Revealed Recording. Since then, Dannic has garnered contracts to produce remixes for huge labels such as Armada, Ultra, Atlantic, and Ministry of Sound. Recently, his remix for Helena has hit No. 1 on the Australian Dance Chart, and a collaboration with Hardwell entitled “Kontiki” went viral and raced up the Beatport charts.
