Known for blending catchy vocals, solid bass hooks, driving beats, and an irresistible groove to create dancefloor exploding house tracks, Dutch DJ and production duo Firebeatz have quickly gained an outstanding level of recognition since hitting the scene in 2008 with their tracks “Speak Up” followed by “We’re Going Back”, both of which found immediate airplay on some of Holland’s most popular radio stations. It wasn’t long before Firebeatz had gained the support of hit artists such as Fedde le Grand, Funkerman, and Roger Sanchez.
The following year, Tim and Jurre as a duo began receiving invitations to play at many of the scene’s most renowned festivals and events. In 2010, Firebeatz was signed to Flamingo Recordings, under which they collaborated with Joey Suki to create “Hidden Sound”, a track that raced up the Beatport chart, peaking at No. 7 and gaining them the respect of scene stars like David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, and Laidback Luke. The next year their release “It’s Like That 2011” became an international sensation, hitting No. 1 on charts in four countries. Since then, Firebeats has collaborated with some of the scene’s hottest artists and has produced remixes for superstars such as Snoop Dogg, Flo Rida, and Timbaland featuring Missy Elliot.
