Belfast-born DJ and producer Greg Downey caught his first break after one of the promoters for the renowned festival Gatecrasher caught his after-party set in Ibiza, and almost immediately thereafter he was playing at some of the biggest venues in the UK, such as Space, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Inside Out, and Slinky. It wasn’t long before Downey flying all over the globe to perform in front of massive audiences in New York, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, and many other places. Upon its release, his debut album “Live As Album” was named Mixmag’s Album of the Month. Shortly after that, he was voted onto DJ Magazine’s Top 100 poll at No. 82. He then produced a remix of John Digweed’s “Heaven Scent”, which hit the No. 1 spot on Beatport where it stayed for over a month. By this time Downey had garnered the support of all of the world’s leading DJs, and he has continued to pump out chart topping hits on a regular basis.
