Gaspard Michel Andre Augé and Xavier de Rosnay are the two halves of, Justice, the electronic music from France. It was in 2003 the two began producing songs for the concept album, “Hits Up To You,” and from there they found endless amounts of artists excited to work with them. One of their first huge hits was their remix of Simian’s, Never Be Alone which landed them a record deal with the Ed Banger label. After working with such notable artists as Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk and N*E*R*D the duo released their debut album with highly creative title, †. The combination of rock and electronic that was present in Justice’s sound made it a crossover sensation and they were nominated for a number of awards for their unique sound and style. These included a nomination for best Electronic/Dance Album, another for the 2007 Shortlist Prize and they earned a spot on Pitchfork’s top 50 albums of 2007. In 2009, Justice went on to win a Grammy for their remix of the MGMT song, “Electric Feel” in the category of Best Remixed Recording. After moving to the Elektra Records label in 2009, they released their second album, Audio, Video, Disco in 2011 and their live album, Access All Arenas in 2013.
