Following several years of performing as part of the underground music scene in Salt Lake City, American DJ Ryan Raddon—a.k.a. Kaskade—broke into the mainstream scene when the United States experienced a resurgence of progressive house music in the late 2000s. Earlier in the decade, Kaskade released a number of singles that charted well, with “Everything” hitting No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart. In 2008, he began working with Deadmau5 on a collaboration that would lead to his first No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart. He is also well known for his wide range of remixes, having worked with big-name artists such as Above & Beyond, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Daft Punk, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Outkast, and Usher, among many more.
Over the course of his career, Kaskade has performed at a number of high-profile events, including the Ultra Music Festival, where he took the stage just before Armin van Buuren, and the 2012 Coachella, where he headlined alongside Radiohead.
