Mindcontrol

Comprised of Richie Santana and Peter Bailey these two DJ’s have reinvented what it means to be a production and DJ duo. The two men have known one another since high school and bonded over their mutual love of electronic music. This is clear when you hear their sets at the world renowned nightclub, Pacha in New York where they have been playing since 2006. Unlike other teams, each member of Mindcontrol plays one song each; alternating between the two. The crowd eagerly responds to this creative interplay and allows for Santana and Bailey to seriously flex their musical knowledge and style. It is not just the crowd that supports Mindcontrol, they have received a lot of respect and have quickly become one of the most prolific production teams in New York and are supported by fellow artists such as Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo to Victor Calderone and Dubfire. Their first compilation records entitled, “Mindcontrol” drew them more deserved attention and the team followed it up with a much craved 2^nd addition.
