Hardstyle DJ and producer Ran-D’s career started largely due to luck. After performing one of his first gigs, he realized that his vinyl bag had been misplaced, and after making a single phone call he learned that it had been picked up by the owner of Special Records. This fortuitous circumstance resulted in Ran-D’s first release.
Shortly after that, the track made it into the hands of one of his favorite artists, DJ Zatox, who helped Ran-D put out his second release and provided promotional support. After a number of subsequent releases, Q-dance invited him to perform at Qountdown, and from there his career took off. Since then, he has played at prominent hardstyle events such as Qlimax, Defqon 1, Hard Bass, Decibel, Reverze, and Thrillology, among many others.
