Dutch EDM producer and DJ Sander van Doorn gained his first big break when he garnered a residency at major clubs in Ibiza and London. Over the course of the mid-2000s, he toured all over the world and produced remixes for a wide range of leading artists, such as the Killers, Depeche Mode, Swedish House Mafia, and Sia.
In 2008, Van Doorn released his debut full length which met a high level of acclaim. That year he beat out Deadmau5, Axwell, and Calvin Harris for the distinction of Best Breakthrough DJ at the Miami Winter Music Conference’s International Dance Music Awards. He also received a nomination for Best Underground Track for his song “Riff”.
Since then, Van Doorn has held residencies at some of the most prestigious clubs in the world, and has headlined huge music festivals such as Bal en Blanc, Beyond Wonderland, Electric Zoo, and Transmission. His tracks regularly top charts around the globe. Van Doorn entered DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs Poll at No. 32 in 2006. He climbed to No. 10 in 2009, and he was most recently listed at No. 18.
