American DJ and producer Sean Tyas has reached an increasingly wide audience thanks largely to his regular inclusion on the playlists for popular radio shows such as Armin Van Buuren’s A State of Trance, Tiestö ‘s Club Life, Above & Beyond’s Trance Around the World, and more lately his own show Tytanium Sessions.
Tyas became interested in electronic dance music in 1991 as he delved into the techno scene. In 2000 he began experimenting with his own productions, and within four years he was living in Germany and working alongside DJ Beam. Eventually he moved to Switzerland, where he began pumping out hit singles. Since 2008, he has held a residency at one of the UK’s hottest clubs, Sheffield.
