Simian Mobile Disco is a UK digital music and production pair along with from London. The duo was first shaped inside 2005 by Simian band members Jas Shaw and James Ford.
Musically, they are really understood for their analogue generation. As well as his efforts with Simian Mobile Disco, James Ford is a producer and has worked alongside musicians including Klaxons, Arctic Monkeys, Peaches and Florence and the Machine.
Simian Mobile Disco initially established as a DJ duet, along the side of their early on four-piece group Simian. They launched numerous very early tastemaker tracks, including “Upside Down”, “Boatrace” and “The Mighty Atom” by way of “I am a Cliche”. They also launched the track named “The Count”, on Kitsune. However, the duo acquired more renowned for their remixes of musicians like The Go! Team, Air, Muse, the Klaxons among others.
Back in ’06, Kitsune unveiled the duet’s subterranean success entitled “Hustler”, showcasing guest singing by Char Johnson of New York, NY.
The group’s introduction record, Attack Decay Sustain Release premiered on June 18th of 2007 on the label Wichita Recordings. On the list of songs was the lead track entitled “It is the Beat” in addition to “Hot Dog”, “I Believe” Tits and Acid”, “Hustler” and “Sleep Deprivation.” The record comprises 5 fresh songs, and the European variant contains an extra disc. However, this record actually follows mix compilations from April of ’07 for the “Bugged Out” chain.
While taking care of their 2nd studio recording, they launched a group of remixed SMD original versions named “Sample and Hold”, which includes 11 songs and premiered in the United Kingdom on July 28th of ’08.
During January of ’09, the duo pronounced on their Myspace page that a brand-new record would be unveiled later that year. They unveiled a fresh song, “Synthesise”, on February 12th of ’09, by way of a music video that “attributes live aesthetic accompaniment” for the songs. A couple of days after, a brand-new tune was transmitted on BBC Radio 1 called “10,000 Horses Cannot Be Wrong”, shortly accompanied by the launch on March 6th of 2009 of the genuine music video via their youtube.com channel.

Back in March of 2010 the duet pronounced their new nightclub-nighttime endeavor, Delicatessen, curated by the duet and associated with what they convey to be “a completely new imprint” entitled “Delicacies”. The 1st single on Delicacies was to launch at the end of May 2010, first as a physical record and thereafter via digital means.
In February of 2012, Simian Mobile Disco pronounced the follow-up to Delicacies which was called “Unpatterns”. Unpatterns premiered on May 14th of that same year. To promote this album, the track “Seraphim” was introduced as the record’s first single back on April 9th of 2012.
On October 2nd of 2012 the combo unveiled their 4th album entitled, “A Form of Change”. The four songs which are contained on “A Form of Change” actually came from recording sessions for the “Unpatterns” project which were never before released.
