The Brrrrr! Music Festival is one of the few festivals that takes place in the middle of winter. This year, it was on Saturday, February 1 at TD Echo Beach and the Corona Technodome in Toronto.
With their second year up and running, this year’s outdoor music and arts festival featured names such as Wolfgang Gartner, Sharam, Hot Since 82, Felix Cartal, and Joe Ghost. Shows started at 5pm.
Attendees – who had to be 16+ – were encouraged to dress in their brightest winter gear possible. Toronto got really lucky on February 1st with a “warm” streak. Instead of it being in the teens, it was a balmy 33 degrees with a low of 24.
However, those who purchased VIP tickets didn’t have to worry much about the cold. With their passes came VIP bathrooms and a bar, express festival entry, and a heated VIP area with a view of the stage.
There were a variety of food and drinks available for purchase, including grilled cheese, Bacardi, hot chocolate, nachos, tacos, and sandwiches. Good eats and great music? It doesn’t get better.
