Get ready to party, Seattle! Bumbershoot 2014 will take place at the Seattle Center from August 30 to September 1, and if last year’s lineup was any indication of the talent that’s going to be there this year, it’s not one you want to miss. The first ever Bumbershoot dates all the way back to 1971, so you know they know what they’re doing.
In 2013, some of the big names on the lineup included Fun., Death Cab for Cutie, Kendrick Lamar, MGMT, Tegan and Sara, Ra Ra Riot, and The Zombies. The lineup for this year has not yet been announced.
Tickets for Bumbershoot 2014 are $122.80 for a 3-day pass, $344 for a 3-day gold pass, and $519.70 for a 3-day platinum pass. However, the event has a warning on the site to arrive early as indoor venues have a capacity, and having tickets does not necessarily mean you’ll get in. Children 10 and under are free, but must be accompanied by an adult.
In addition to the set lineup, there’s also interviews, DJ sets, and various other performances taking place.
