There are many all-ages festivals, but Camp Bestival is one of a few music festivals that’s truly geared for partiers of any age. From children to adults, from those who come out for a single show to those who camp the entire weekend, this festival is all about music, fun, and family-friendly good times.
There’s a special theme each year, and the 2014 festival, which will take place from July 31st to August 3rd, will be a circus for all ages. In addition to the exceptional music, visitors can stand in awe of jugglers, acrobats, contortionists, and hula-hoopers. As always, Camp Besival will also include spoken word, comedy, and many other special acts.
Fairground rides, facepainting, kid’s catwalk, and sandpit specifically for the under 5 set are all activities that we expect to be repeated in 2014. The official lineup includes a host of bands like Basement Jaxx, Sinead O’Connor, Steve Mason, The Wedding Present, Fe, James, Johnny Marr, and the Cuban Brothers. DJ sets include Boy George and Marc Vedo, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Awesome Tapes From Africa, Rob Da Bank, and David Rodigan MBE Presents Ram Jam.
