The Catskills are a beautiful area, and bringing a music festival to the area just makes them even better.
The Catskill Chill Music Festival is ready to invade the tiny town of Hancock, New York, which only has 1,010 residents on a normal day, but from September 5-7, 2014, that’s definitely going to change.
While the 2014 lineup isn’t going to be announced until April, the 2013 lineup included Lotus, Galactic, Papadosio, Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds, Lettuce, Tea Leaf Green, and Conspirator.
The event will be hosted at Camp Minglewood, but if camping or staying in a cabin isn’t your thing, there’s a hotel about a 10 minute drive away. There’s no car camping allowed. You can only arrive the day of – and not the day before – the event.
You can bring one sealed bottle of water into the event, but no alcohol and no other food or beverages.
