The Donauinselfest — Danube Island Festival is Europe’s biggest open air festival with free entrance that takes place on Danube Island in Vienna, Austria Vienna. Every year at end of June, the popular leisure paradise of the Viennese, the Danube Island, turns into a huge party zone for young and old. On-site at the 4,5 km Festival area, the Danube Island Festival offers 11 stages featuring a range of music genres for all visitors — Rock, Pop, Alternative Indie, Punk, HipHop, Oldies, electro-music, Schlagermusik, folk music, cabaret or readings — national and international Superstars.
With more than 600 hours of programme within three days, about 2.000 artists contribute to the summer party atmosphere!
