What do we know so far about the 2014 Ground Zero Festival? The lineup may not have been announced, and the promoters may be tight lipped about what special events we can expect this year, but that hasn’t stopped tens of thousands of fans from buying their tickets anyway. While the details are limited to the date – Saturday, August 30th, 2014 – and the price, if last year’s event is anything to go by then we know it’s not to be missed.
This is the only full-on, all-night dance party in the Netherlands. It’s a rave like no other, that goes on longer and has more surprises an enchantment than the others in the area. There are a total of seven arenas pounding out music all night, from hardcore, to hardstyle, from hard trance, to Frenchcore – and even terror and early hardcore. The over-sized stages are more than a venue, they’re a part of the show, with their flame-throwing and jet-lasering abilities.
It’s not just music there though – you also get thrill rides, the only 7 AM license given out all year, and a forest to explore. This is the party that will be talked about for months to come.
