Nature One is one of the biggest European open air festivals and celebrates electronic music from Germany and throughout the world. The attendance of this festival has easily surpassed older and formerly prominent festivals like Mayday, and has the added advantage of lasting two main evenings, plus tons of smaller events held throughout Thursday through Sunday.
Held on a harvested field to reduce eco-damage, Nature One has tons of camping available, though it does typically sell out before the festival begins on the first weekend of August. The Saturday of the festival campers cuddle up around the fire to take in the incredible fireworks display, and there are many hobby DJs, and small clubs set up around the campgrounds. In fact, some come just for the camping and skip the official festival all together.
There are 4 areas set up in the festival: Open Air Floor, which is typically Trance, Century Circus, with a focus on Techno, House of House, with, you guessed it, House music, and Classic Terminal with a combination of beats from yesterday. The lineup for 2014 has not yet been announced, but we expect heavy weights just like we saw last year with Paul Van Dyk, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, and Sven Vath.
