Showcasing an array of DJs, it is no wonder a handful of Aretha Franklin’s dancers have already been seen frequenting the dance floor. Finding a place for great electronic music is hard enough, but finding the 88 Avenue mixes of corner bar and Euro-club is a lot more difficult.
What to Expect:
Weeknights have more of the pub life feeling than Saturdays and Fridays, but the drinks are cheaper, the music remains amazing and there is more chance in the pool table. Therefore, whether you are looking forward to having a few laid back beers or tearing up the dance floor, both demands can easily be fulfilled by 88 Avenue.
However, do not show up too early or very hungry to 88 Avenue. This venue does not open until 7 p.m. and the food is limited to pretzels.
