About Asylum AfterhoursAsylum Afterhours may be a pint-sized club, but this strictly underground clientele knows how to party big. The space is dedicated exclusively to house and techno, and is run by a crew of promoters and DJs who wanted to create a venue they’d be proud to call their own.
The list of DJs who’ve crossed through their doors is long, and includes Lee Foss, DJ T, and Mr. C. There are several rooms inside, all of which are warm and wild, and the sound is exceptional. Most patrons are there for the music, and regulars claim this lends a friendly, welcoming, and comfortable vibe.
In fact, Asylum Afterhours has made their particular mix of music so popular, that they’ve launched a label to spread the word: Asylum Confidential. Resident DJ Willis Haltom has started to earn a reputation across the world as an innovator in the dance world.
The club is open from 12:30 AM to 7 AM on most Fridays and Saturday nights, and though they do not sell alcohol, members are welcome to bring their own. Speaking of membership – it is required to party at this hot spot, but dues are affordable and temporary passes can be purchased for those who want to try it out before making a commitment.
