About Bootleg TheatreThe Bootleg Theatre prides itself for being a center for all arts. There are live theater performances that come from a variety of different backgrounds thanks to the cultural influences that can be found in Los Angeles. The building was once a 1930’s warehouse that has been converted into a theater. It is well known for its new, up and coming musical performances as well as a variety of spoken word theatre performances and dance acts. Visiting the Bootleg Theatre is a one of a kind experience where you can see performances that you would not likely see anywhere else. There are a number of unique and non traditional acts that perform at this venue on a regular basis.
In addition, there are a number of workshops that are available for those interested in learning more about theater performing or other arts. The theater is actually a non-profit organization that exists by the support of their generous donations and the money that they receive through ticket sales.
