About Fillmore MiamiFillmore Miami is one of the most popular and oldest entertainment venues in Miami and in the United States. Its history goes back in time to the Golden Era Movie Age, when a lot of celebrities used to perform here. Anything from concerts, comedy and dance shows to box performances were allowed. Furthermore, in the 1960s, this concert hall was the place where many of the most famous TV shows were filmed.
Later on, in the 1980s, the place became a very important name in the performance arts industry. Broadway shows, cabaret shows, as well as concerts of very famous artists (such as Itzhak Perlman, for instance) were held here. Nowadays, this is the most important venue for concerts of all sorts.
Furthermore, the concert hall has a food and drinks section. And, although the entire place looks luxurious in its red and golden shades, the food served here is not as pretentious as it may appear at first. As a matter of fact, it is as basic as it can get: pretzels, popcorn, hot dogs, and pizza.
As for ticket prices, they can vary a lot according to the performer of the night, but they generally start at around $25.
