About Good LifeLocated in the Financial District, Good Life is an upscale club that takes up residence on several floors and draws vastly different crowds depending on which night you visit. Owned by a former DJ, this is a venue that’s always looking to blend the most seasoned DJs with the best up-and-coming talent in the Boston area.
You might show up one night to see rockers rocking to their favorite hard rock, another night to see a band belting out the blues, and yet another night to see an alternative crowd. While the club can be packed on any night, Saturdays are often the often the most crowded, thanks to the DJ-spun blend of old school hip-hop and house music.
Upstairs you’ll find two intimate bars where you can check out the rotating exhibits of local artists. Downstairs you’ll see DJs spinning on virtually every night of the week, though their sets will be markedly different. There is typically no cover charge at Good Life, but occasionally a special event will cost you $5 – $10 to get in the door.
Beers range from the affordable $3.50 to top shelf $9 local brews. Wine will set you back $6 – $15, and cocktails start at $6 and go up to $10. Martinis are a flat $10 no matter which of the many options you choose. This is an anything-goes club, so feel free to wear what makes you feel good.
