About Hip Island 2.0Heilbronn’s city beach club Hip Island 2.0 is not for “scenos” alone, but also offers a day platform for holiday-craving-families, who cannot afford the overseas trip. On 3000sqm city beach, 200 sun chairs, 8 lounge beds and plenty of other seating opportunities the word “relaxing” has just found a new definition.
Maybe not as awesome as some other German beach clubs, it is still a great open air location in Heilbronn – tipped sand and tiki gods in all shapes and variations guarantee pure holiday vibes in the center of Heilbronn’s industrial area.
Whether you’d like to play beachvolleyball, indulge in exotic foods, enjoy a Shisha (water pipe) or order cocktails such as “Mai Tai” or “Zombie” on one of the many bars named in true South Pacific fashion such as “Kontiki” or “Aloha”, you’ll definitely be guaranteed a memorable chillout session and summer grooves underneath a star-ridden sky or baldachin tent.
As to be expected, the tunes are on the more “beachy”, loungey and electronic side with local heroes such as Anthony Rother and Disko B’s very own DJ Hell visiting on special nights.
Entrance is free throughout the week and around the 4 Euro mark on weekends.
Grab your very own “Eiseimer” (ice bucket = take 6 only pay 5) to start your ideal hot summer night.
