About Joy ClubThe Joy Club is located just outside Nimes with easy access by motorway. Opened as the “Las Vegas” nightclub in 1963, it is one of the oldest clubs in Nimes and was also famous as the “Fantasia” before taking it’s present name of Joy Club. Since 1998, it has taken a considerable artistic shift with new theme events: Champagne, Ibiza, White Night (white dress code), Ladies’ Party… and is still one of the top clubs in Nimes for many party-goers. The musical program is resolutely modern, with it’s resident DJs Blacky and Mr. Adil spinning club and generalist hits. Regular guest stars are featured for electro, tech, house, and disco music nights. Guests are scheduled for one to two Fridays each month, and the Joy Club has hosted names like Maxime d’Angles, Cebb, Jennifer, Cardini, The Hacker, Dusty Kid, Stefan Bodzin, Fairmont, Alex Evander and James Mac. Saturdays are reserved for the resident DJs who play festive dance music, house, and electro, while clubbers groove on the spacious dance floor. Cover charge starts at 10 euros and includes one drink. Cover may vary according to the event. Smart, casual dress required. Open Friday and Saturday from midnight until dawn.
