About Open HouseFormerly known as Stay, the bar/club has now reopened as Open House. The venue has a very simple and no hassle policy of no-list, no-cover.
The place portrays the image of a delightfully modern home, and is tucked away at the back of a worn wooden façade. This boîte has a glamorous appeal as two different styles blend together – it is an amalgamation of bric-à-brac and swap meet style décor.
It was designed by Steve Lewis, the renowned nightlife guru and Blackbook columnist. He created the entire setting for the club, which has antique furnishing that intermingles with the chic modern accents to create a luxurious ambience. With gauzy earthy tones, warm lighting fixtures, and exposed brick walls, the place offers a cozy atmosphere.
The first floor is about 2100 square feet and can accommodate up to 250 people.
For Happy Hour, hit the club on Thursdays between 7pm and10pm for half-priced drinks.
Music scene can include anything from 80s, Hip-Hop, Alternative, Top 40, Jazz/Blues, House, Electronic / Dance, Pop, Top 40, Industrial Techno, R&B, Reggaeton, Rock, Reggae, and Mash-up.
