About OrpheusClub Orpheus is located in downtown Baltimore at 1003 E. Pratt Street, situated on the edge of Little Italy, just 4 blocks east of the National Aquarium and Harbor Place. It is an 18+ to party, 21+ to drink nightclub which has been a neighborhood fixture many years.
Club Orpheus’ HEX hosts a Gothic and Gothic Rock party each and every Friday evening, with all the first and third Friday of each month hosting a Fetish party.
Each Saturday, Hex opens up for an actual Alternative Rock & Dance party, occasionally hosting live groups, group showcases and special large parties like Baltimore’s Armored Ball, Baltimore’s Wytching Hour, and lots of other reasons to check them out on a Friday or Saturday night between 9:00 a.m. and 2 a.m.
What to Expect:
While the dress code of Club Orpheus is not overly strict, backpacks and large purses are not allowed. Not surprisingly, you will be required to wear a shirt and your pants need to be worn above your hips, otherwise you will be turned away. If you do have a backpack, it can be coat checked.
Also, you should know that there is a cover charge of $6 if you are 21 or older or $8 if you fall in the 18 to 20 year old range. Just keep in mind that these charges are subject to change on special theme nights and when special performers entertain at Club Orpheus.
Planning to start a tab at the bar with your credit card? Not so fast. This is a cash-only establishment, so make sure to hit the ATM before showing up to this loud, dance-friendly and moderately priced venue.
Thinking about stopping by Club Orpheus? It is recommended that you do so on a Friday night, especially if you are into Goth.
