About PalladiumThough it’s typically considered a haven for punk and metal fans, a wide range of acts regularly come through the Palladium. Recent artists include Dashboard Confessional, the Foo Fighters, Blink 182, Skillrex, Jay-Z, and Bob Dylan.
The 2,160 capacity is often not enough, so if you spot an act you don’t want to miss, you better buy tickets early. A full bar is there for those 21 and older, though there are plenty of inexpensive snacks and treats for the underage crowd. There is no parking lot and street parking can be a pain, though there are numerous nearby lots with plenty of space if you’re willing to pay a few bucks.
No matter what spot you stake out in the expansive venue, you’ll have a great view of the stage and the sound system is exceptional. The faint of heart should beware though: This is primarily a punk and metal club, and it shows. The space is dingy, the lights are low, and the crowd is not opposed to showing its enthusiasm with a little roughhousing.
