About Paradox NightclubSitting aside from just about everything else in East Baltimore, but a pack of train tracks and other warehouses is Paradox, this 13,000 square foot night club is a one-time storage place for a marble company.
Transformed by former Odell’s nighttime club disc jockey and Fantasy night club owner Wayne Davis in 1991, Paradox, with its open dance floor and complex video wall system, is a fantastic place for adults to get free on the weekly dose of house and hip hop music.
Paradox is instrumental within the musical careers of Baltimore’s world celebrated Basement Boys production team (Crystal Waters and Ultra Nate), celebrated dance-music artist Ultra Nate and super producer DJ Spen.
What to Expect:
While Paradox Nightclub does not have a strict dress code per se, special events that take place at the club can enforce their own dress code if they choose. Furthermore, you should be aware of the fact that for the most part, this is an 18 plus night club.
Having said this, folks who have made it down to Paradox night club say that it is moderately priced, is good for dancing, and is very loud. In fact, many describe the sound system at Paradox as second to none. DJs love spinning here because of the electric atmosphere that comes with a quality system.
The best nights to hit Paradox are Friday and Saturday nights. Just be aware that there is no off-street parking, so get there early so that you can find a good parking spot on the street.
