About SL MiamiSL is a high-end nightclub located in The James Royal Palm that was opened quite recently in Miami as well (although it had been present on the nightlife scene of the New York for quite a while). Colorful, stylish, upscale and quite private, this club is designed differently than other nightclub. Right in the center of the room, you will find a sunken dance floor, which is surrounded by banquettes and, a bit farther, by fancy tables.
This place is not so much a proper nightclub, but more of a “night lounge”, but do not expect it to be the typical relaxation hideaway. As a matter of fact, the club is known to throw parties that can get pretty wild under the atmosphere created by the music the DJ mixes.
When it comes to prices, this place falls on the upper average category. That is, do expect to pay around $200 for a bottle (and get inside easier if you do so). Also, if you are a non-smoker, bear in mind that smoking is allowed inside of the club.
The entire place feels a lot like a private party, although it can accommodate around 250 people. And, if you have ever been to the SL in New York, do not think that this place is exactly the same. Although it follows the same basic concept, the Miami outpost does have different traits, mainly because it is “soaked” in the entire exoticness of the city.
