About StoryvilleStoryville’s only been around for a few years but Back Bay is certainly richer for it. Located in a historic space that was once home to a preeminent jazz club, Storyville has a modern flair with unique innovations and focuses on delicious New Orleans cocktails.
Many claim the Bordello Room as their favorite of several spaces within the joint, thanks to the obvious speakeasy vibe. Overstuffed leather booths abound, there’s an incredible vintage bar, and the walls are richly covered in deep red damask.
Jazz fiends can stop by every Wednesday to get a taste of the live music they love, while club kids can enjoy DJ mash-ups, Top 40, and Motown on Friday and Saturday nights. The club space is quite the opposite of the Bordello Room, and boasts two bars, numerous bottle service tables, and bartenders mixing up unique craft cocktails.
This is a place to relax, and the owners have taken some unique steps to help you do so. No need to wave your arms frantically in an attempt to get your waitresses attention in this dark club. Simply press a button located inside the check jacket, and a magical red light will let your waitress know you need attention. There is rarely a cover and drinks are relatively affordable.
