About The Congress TheaterThe Congress Theater has been standing since 1926 and it has become one of the more iconic buildings in Chicago. Featuring ornate interiors and exteriors, the building has played host to countless concerts and performances through the years. The place currently functions as a top live venue space which can accommodate up to 3,500 people inside. Bands like Paramore and top DJs like Paul Van Dyke, ATB and Paul Oakenfold have performed on top of its stage.
