A contemporary and stylish lounge in Cambridge that’s spread across three different rooms, the Fountain Inn has a lot going on. Sometimes it’s pop-up restaurants or hangover coffee sessions, but on the weekends, it becomes a live music space that has been graced by many DJs. The 270-person capacity ensures an intimate atmosphere and a Martin Audio sound system does justice to those on the decks.

The biggest night for underground DJs is the bi-monthly ‘Off the Record’ night that brings in fresh sounds from the house music scene and continues until 6am. However, on other nights you’ll find promoters using the venue and bringing in names from the house, hip-hop, and techno genres. Whatever the music, you can expect it to be non-commercial and certain to get people onto the atmospheric dance floor. The bars and chill-out space add to the ambience, and in a city devoid of electronic music, the Fountain Inn’s ability to transform from lounge to club is well appreciated by the local crowd.
