About The Stiff Kitten ClubA spin-off from Ireland’s most successful club night, Shine, the Stiff Kitten Club has added a large dose of underground music to Belfast’s clubbing scene. While Shine focuses on big-name DJs at the Queen’s University Students’ Union, it brings in the up-and-coming underground DJs and live acts to the Stiff Kitten Club.
During the day, it’s a bar and restaurant, but at night it transforms into a funky venue where a party-goer could be dancing to anything from 70s guitars to deep drum and bass. Predominantly, partiers are likely to find underground house and techno music spun by DJs who know how to keep a crowd entertained and happy. Locals know how to party and will keep stomping away until the music finishes. Relatively small but packing a powerful punch, The Stiff Kitten is the place to come if you don’t want the anonymity of the Shine nights at Queen’s University Students’ Union.
