Dutch electro house, tech house, and progressive house producer and DJ Fedde Le Grand is best known for his track “Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit”, which was released in 2006. The track was an instant hit, reaching No. 1 in the UK, making the top five in the Netherlands, and spending five weeks on the charts in Spain.
The co-founder of Flamingo Recordings, Le Grand shares the label’s releases through his role as the host of the weekly radio show Dark Light Sessions. He is also widely regarded for his remixes, having produced them for artists such as Coldplay, Timeflies, Nikki Williams, Digitalism, and many others.
In 2009, Fedde Le Grand entered the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs Poll at No. 29. The following year, he moved up to No. 21, then No. 14 in 2011. As of 2012, he ranked No. 26.
