An ex-member of the electronic dance music super-group Swedish House Mafia, Sebastian Ingrosso grew up learning how to record music in his father’s Stockholm-based recording studio. In 1999, his first remix was released by Mega Records, and by 2011 he was ranked No. 26 on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs Poll. When he initially joined the magazine’s top 100 ranks, Ingrosso was awarded as the highest new entry, a record that has only been surpassed by Deadmau5.
Outside of his work as a producer, Ingrosso owns and serves as the head of A&R for Refune records. Over the course of its operation, the label has brought up a variety of new talents, such as AN21, Style of Eye, Max Vangeli, and Alesso. Over the course of his career, he has produced remixes for many artists, such as Justin Timberlake, Hard-Fi, Felix Da Housecat with P. Diddy, and Benny Benassi with Chris Brown.
